Moroccan fintech, Talaty, has secured seed funding from Witamax through its Funds II and III, Renew Capital, and early angel investors. Known for supporting innovation and growth in Africa, the investors did not disclose the funding amount.

Talaty is redefining financing for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through its innovative AI-driven platform. The company uses advanced AI techniques like computer vision, text analysis, and behavioral finance AI to streamline traditional financial processes, improving access to working capital for SMBs.
By incorporating cutting-edge AI, Talaty is setting a new standard in fintech. It empowers financial institutions with the tools needed to thrive in a competitive market, offering instant lending solutions. Talaty’s platform targets underserved small and medium businesses, cutting default rates and reducing operational costs by 90%. With AI and behavioral finance insights, it helps lenders make faster, more reliable, and inclusive credit decisions.

Witamax’s Commitment
This investment marks another milestone for Witamax, Morocco’s first privately-backed VC fund. Witamax, through its Funds II and III, has reinforced its commitment to support startups tackling key societal and economic challenges in Morocco and Africa.
