UAE President, Lebanese PM discuss bilateral relations

The meeting at Qasr Al Bahr addresses regional stability and security for the benefit of both nations

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, convened to discuss collaboration between their nations, exploring avenues to enhance relations in a manner that aligns with the interests of both countries and fulfills the developmental aspirations of their peoples.

The meeting was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, where His Highness welcomed the Lebanese Prime Minister, who is currently visiting the UAE to take part in the Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai.

Both parties reviewed regional and international matters of shared concern, emphasizing the significance of promoting efforts to promote stability, security, and peace within the region for the benefit of its people and the advancement of its nations.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated the UAE’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, alongside all initiatives that contribute to the nation’s stability, development, and prosperity.

In response, the Lebanese Prime Minister expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support of the Lebanese populace. He also emphasized Lebanon’s commitment to fortifying its ties with the UAE across various sectors in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE President; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Lana Nusseibeh, assistant minister for Political Affairs; Mona Al Marri, vice chairperson and managing director of the Dubai Media Council, along with several key officials.
