Leaders exchanged heartfelt wishes in advance of Eid al-Adha, praying for health and happiness
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions today with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The dialogue centered on the long-standing fraternal ties between the two nations and explored avenues to enhance cooperation across various sectors, particularly those that promote their shared developmental aspirations and serve the mutual interests of their peoples.
These talks occurred during His Excellency President El-Sisi’s fraternal visit to the UAE, where His Highness welcomed him at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. At the beginning of the meeting, both leaders exchanged greetings and heartfelt wishes in advance of Eid al-Adha, praying for divine blessings of health and happiness for everyone, and for ongoing prosperity and favor for both countries and their populations.
Moreover, the two leaders thoroughly examined regional and international issues of shared concern and shared perspectives on recent developments in the Middle East.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed their mutual commitment to ongoing consultation and coordination between the UAE and Egypt on matters that benefit both nations and bolster initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace, security, and stability as critical foundations for development and prosperity.
Subsequent to the meeting, His Highness the President hosted a luncheon in honor of the Egyptian President.

Following the conclusion of his fraternal visit, the Egyptian President departed the UAE. He was bid farewell at the Presidential Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with several Sheikhs and senior officials.
