The UAE Cabinet has approved the country’s official international policy stance on artificial intelligence (AI), aimed at strengthening the UAE’s global leadership in this sector.
Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology, stated that adopting these policies will enhance the UAE’s leadership in AI development and utilization, building trust with strategic partners.
According to a Reuters report, AI-driven legal technology can help professionals manage increasing data volumes. These tailored legal solutions can quickly analyze large sets of complex data within specific parameters and secure systems. They facilitate informed decision-making and enhance business agility for senior leaders.
The Future of Professionals Report notes that AI-powered legal technology can assist MENA professionals in addressing key priorities: identifying and mitigating emerging risks (43%) and monitoring legal and regulatory changes (40%). Global respondents ranked these priorities similarly, reflecting growing regulatory complexity worldwide.
Sharaf added, “By aligning the country’s foreign policy with global artificial intelligence standards, we enable local stakeholders, including private enterprises, research institutions, and others, to tackle the challenges of artificial intelligence on an international scale.”
