During his official visit to the United States, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with several U.S. Senators. They discussed avenues to enhance UAE-U.S. relations across various sectors, along with other shared interests.
In meetings with Senator Mark Warner, chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; Senator Markwayne Mullin; Senator Joni Ernst; Senator Tom Cotton; and Senator John Thune, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage with the Senators. He acknowledged the crucial role that the U.S. Congress has played in strengthening ties between the UAE and the U.S..
