The Middle East is experiencing a historic transformation under Saudi leadership, said U.S. President Trump
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, emphasized the importance of economic partnership with the United States during the opening of the GCC-U.S. summit in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The Saudi Crown Prince noted that the U.S. is a crucial trading partner, with bilateral trade between the GCC countries and the U.S. reaching $120 billion in 2024.

He remarked, “Our meeting today with President Donald Trump symbolizes the historical and strategic partnership between our nations, which has evolved over the decades into a model of cooperation. This summit highlights our commitment to collectively strengthen our relations and expand our strategic partnerships to fulfill the aspirations of our countries and peoples.”

For his part, U.S. President Donald Trump said during the fifth GCC-U.S. Summit that Gulf countries are leading the way as stable and prosperous nations, with the entire world observing the opportunities they offer.


Trump remarked on Tuesday that the Middle East, particularly under the leadership of Saudi Arabia, is undergoing a historic transformation. He praised the significant achievements of the Kingdom under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

These comments were made during his address at the Saudi-American Investment Forum in Riyadh, where he highlighted the remarkable changes occurring in the region, describing them as “a modern miracle, the Arabian way”, thanks to the efforts of its leaders and people.
