They do so by managing all the businesses’ operational and technical details of their payment processing. Thus, allowing the businesses to focus on their growth.

“We are thrilled to have secured this funding, which will enable us to scale our team, both in Amsterdam and Cape Town, and further enhance our platform’s capabilities,” said Jonatan Allback, co-founder and CEO of NjiaPay.

The fintech firm’s  USD 1 million pre-seed funding round was led by HAVAIC alongside angel investors including founders of Anyfin, Banxware and Maxidrive.

Rob Heath, partner at HAVAÍC, said “We have observed firsthand the challenges faced by our portfolio companies in managing payments across the African continent. The need to integrate with multiple PSPs can significantly impede their product development timelines.

6DOT50

South African fintech startup, 6DOT50, announces a partnership with BTS and Serti Solutions to enable cryptocurrency payments for vehicles. This will allow customers to  purchase new or pre-owned vehicles with eight cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin. Furthermore, this new service will be available at over 1,400 car dealerships.

6DOT50 is a single voucher and transaction services platform. Moreover, the  6DOT50 vouchers are commodity money products used as a store value and mode of payment.

The fintech startup aims to eliminate the risk of cryptocurrency through linking their digital vouchers to customer’s banking grade transactional accounts. Thus, the customer can convert cryptocurrency into 6DOT50 vouchers and redeem them through the Serti Solutions platform. This alternative to traditional payments options aims to provide an opportunity for car dealerships to engage with the cryptomarket.
