A cordial, informal consultative meeting was held in Riyadh by leaders of the GCC member states, Egypt and Jordan.
The meeting, suggested by His Highness Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, gathered UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, His Highness Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Majesty Jordanian King Abdullah II and His Excellency Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

It is part of a chain of regular consultative meetings that aim to strengthen the relationship between the GCC states on one hand, and Jordan and Egypt on the other.
The UAE President tweeted on X, “Today, I participated in a meeting in Saudi Arabia with a group of leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council states, Jordan, and Egypt as part of efforts to further strengthen coordination and consultation between our countries. I thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for organising this constructive dialogue.”
