flydubai will operate two direct flights per week from Dubai.
Saudi Arabia is buzzing with new developments, especially with exciting destinations like the Red Sea and Neom. And now, getting to the Red Sea from Dubai just got a whole lot easier. The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) is gearing up to welcome its first international flight from Dubai. flydubai is taking off from Dubai to the Red Sea on 18 April, marking the start of a new service that will run twice a week.
That means no more excuses to not visit the spectacular Red Sea. With flights like this one, and more on the horizon, the Red Sea is committed to making itself more accessible to travellers from near and far.
As RSI opens more innovative terminals, slated for full operation next year, the influx of more inbound flights to the Red Sea will be seamlessly managed for all travellers. Split into five ‘mini terminals,’ this layout will not only provide operational adaptability but also champion energy efficiency and sustainability.
As for what is there to do at the Red Sea, it currently boasts two lavish resorts — Six Senses Southern Dunes and St. Regis Red Sea Resort. They have already attracted the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and his family. Plus with more resorts gearing up to open this year, there’s going to be tons of exciting developments ahead.
The launch of direct flights from Dubai to the Red Sea will prove to be a gamechanger, making the region more accessible and boosting tourism.
