The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, is highlighting the vibrant opportunities and competitiveness of Dubai’s digital business landscape at Expand North Star 2024, the largest global gathering for startups and investors.
Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the chamber, this event will be held at Dubai Harbour from October 13 to 16.
Showcasing competitive advantages
During this four-day event, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will emphasize the competitive strengths of Dubai’s digital ecosystem and its significant role in driving business growth.
Support for digital startups
The chamber will also present the premier facilities and infrastructure available in the emirate to support digital startups, along with the services it offers to facilitate both local and global business expansion.

Launchpad Dubai: A key feature
A key feature of the chamber’s pavilion will be the ‘Launchpad Dubai,’ an integrated platform for business services developed in collaboration with five partners. This platform creates opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs to connect directly with service providers that assist in establishing and growing businesses in Dubai.

Moreover, the partners involved in delivering services through this platform include the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), Emirates NBD, BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates, Antler, and Silkhaus.
Innovative initiatives for growth
At the event, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy will also showcase several innovative initiatives aimed at boosting the digital economy’s contribution to the emirate and enhancing Dubai’s attractive business environment.
‘Create Apps in Dubai’ program
Among these initiatives is the ‘Create Apps in Dubai’ program, which aims to train over 1,000 Emiratis in coding, mobile app development, and business creation models, as well as to triple the number of app developers in Dubai by 2025 and support 100 new national projects focused on advanced mobile applications.
Promoting the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform
Additionally, the chamber will promote the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform, which offers practical support for businesses looking to launch or expand in the emirate. This platform further provides convenient access to essential services from leading providers, along with business matchmaking services to connect companies with suitable partners, investors, and customers.

Through its participation in the event, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy plays a crucial role in reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global leader in the digital economy. This aligns with its commitment to transforming Dubai into a premier global hub for technology and innovation, in accordance with the goals set out in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
