Aramco Digital Company and AI inference specialist Groq have partnered to build the world’s largest inferencing data center in Saudi Arabia.
This collaboration marks a major advancement in the Kingdom’s digital transformation efforts, strengthening its global leadership in AI and cloud computing, according to a Saudi Press Agency report.
The announcement was made during the Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit) in Riyadh.The new data center will be crucial to Aramco Digital‘s vision, harnessing advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals. By integrating Groq‘s cutting-edge AI and machine-learning infrastructure with Aramco Digital’s strategies, the partnership aims to transform data processing and analytics across multiple industries.
By late 2024, the facility will handle 5.28 million tokens per second, increasing to 53 million tokens per second by 2025, setting a new industry benchmark and bringing Groq’s advanced technology to Saudi Arabia.
