Aman Group has revealed its plans for Janu Dubai, scheduled to open in 2027, shortly after announcing Aman Dubai, which will be located in Jumeirah Beach.
Aman Group has revealed its second upcoming project in the heart of Dubai, Janu Dubai, set to launch in 2027. This announcement follows the hospitality company’s earlier plans to launch Aman Dubai, which will be located on Jumeirah Beach.
This announcement follows the successful launch in March 2024 of Janu’s inaugural property, Janu Tokyo, which quickly established itself as the latest luxury destination in the city, enchanting visitors with its vibrant dining atmosphere and pioneering wellness center, thereby redefining excellence in hospitality.
Situated in the lively Dubai International Financial District (DIFC), Janu Dubai will be located near top-tier retail outlets, dining, entertainment venues, and close to Downtown Dubai, offering panoramic views of the skyline, including the Burj Khalifa, and lush garden vistas.
The project, the first in the UAE to be designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, will feature extensive outdoor spaces and a connection to nature, with abundant planting and gardens.
Janu Dubai is owned by Alia Developments, an investment vehicle backed by local and international investors. It will be led by H&H Development, a leading real estate developer with a proven track record in the UAE. H&H Development will serve as both a shareholder of the project and the development manager.
Janu Dubai aims to redefine luxury hospitality in the area by focusing on curative travel that enriches life through genuine human connections, playful expressions, and social wellness, inspired by its Sanskrit-derived name meaning ‘soul’.
The property will house approximately 150 hotel rooms, limited Janu-branded residences, a members’ club, various dining and bar venues, event spaces, and a comprehensive wellness and fitness center.
This initiative follows the successful launch of Janu Tokyo in March 2024, which quickly became a premier luxury spot in Tokyo’s Azabudai Hills, featuring extensive guest accommodations and wellness facilities.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, commented on the expansion, saying: “Following the successful opening of Janu Tokyo, the announcement of Janu Dubai marks my continued commitment to solidifying Janu’s robust pipeline and advancing our strategic vision for the future of luxury hospitality. I am pleased to collaborate with Shahab Lutfi and his team at H&H Development, whose deep market insight will enable us to deliver another exceptional Janu destination for the new generation of travellers seeking connection and exploration.”
In the same context, Shahab Lutfi, Founder of H&H Development, stated: “We are delighted to collaborate with Aman Group to bring yet another successful project, Janu Dubai, to the heart of DIFC. This exceptional property is set to provide residents and visitors alike with an outstanding level of service and amenities, offering transformative experiences and adding a standout development characterised by progressive and timeless design to the branded residence and hospitality sector. By working closely with Aman, we aim to bring exclusive and unique spaces to life.”
This announcement underscores Aman Group’s dedication to expanding in the Middle East, with more properties planned in AlUla, Wadi Safar, and Diriyah Gate. Further details about Janu Dubai and Aman Dubai are expected as they move through the pre-development phase.
