Discussions will explore avenues for strategic partnerships and cooperation across various sectors
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, has arrived in the Sultanate of Oman today for an official visit, leading a high-level delegation. This visit highlights the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Oman, aiming to strengthen cooperation across various sectors. His Highness is scheduled to meet with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and hold discussions with senior Omani officials to explore avenues for strategic partnership and mutual development, Dubai Media Office reported.
Accompanying Sheikh Hamdan are prominent members of the UAE leadership, including H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline and Group; and H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

Key members of the delegation
The delegation also includes Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, minister of Cabinet Affairs; Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, UAE minister of Culture; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE minister of State for Foreign Trade. It further includes Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, UAE minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; and Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, UAE minister of State.


Moreover, other senior officials accompanying the Crown Prince are Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, chairman of Dubai Chambers; Abdulla Al Basti, secretary general of The Executive Council of Dubai; Lieutenant General Talal Belhoul Al Falasi, president of Dubai’s State Security Department; Helal Saeed Al Marri, director general of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; and Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman and CEO of DP World and chairman of the Dubai International Chamber of Commerce.


This visit further reflects the shared vision of the UAE and Oman to foster deeper collaboration and reinforce their longstanding fraternal relationship.
