As unstable weather patterns arise across the UAE, the Emirates are bracing for a series of rain showers of varying intensities over the next three days. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued alerts confirming the likelihood of lightning, thunder, and even hail in certain areas, urging residents to exercise caution.

According to forecasts, heavy rainfall is expected to sweep across the country, raising concerns of potential flooding in low-lying areas.

Additionally, strong winds accompanying the showers will significantly reduce horizontal visibility, posing challenges for motorists and commuters.

The turbulent weather conditions are anticipated to persist from Monday afternoon until early Wednesday morning.

During this period, wind speeds could reach up to 65kmph, stirring up dust and further hampering visibility. As a precautionary measure, residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel.

Stormy weather to impact seas

Mariners and sea-goers are also urged to exercise caution as rough seas are forecasted during this period.

Wednesday is expected to witness a concentration of rainfall in the northern and eastern regions of the country, gradually tapering off by the evening. However, weather conditions are predicted to improve by Thursday, with no rainfall expected throughout the day.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, providing regular updates and advisories to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors alike.
